John Daniel Johnson

February 2026 will be the 8-year anniversary of Rev. John Daniel Johnson serving as our pastor. He's a pastor, author, & teacher, and has preached the love of Jesus for over 25 years.  

Family—Pastor JD is married to Jessica Whittle of Adel, Georgia. Together, they have three children: Trinity, Tiffany, and Charity .

Education—Pastor JD has a M.S. from Troy University in Criminology, M.A. in  Biblical Studies from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, B.A. in Theology from the Baptist University of Florida,  graduate work at at Liberty University, and attended the United States Army Chaplain Center and School. 

Pastor JD is a certified police officer in Pike County, Alabama, and a U.S. Army veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
